How My Journey Began
Hi, I’m Britt-owner, designer, and lead planner of Mountain Arrow Events.
I plan, design, style, and coordinate weddings and elopements in Southwest Colorado and beyond. I was inspired to start Mountain Arrow after planning my own Durango wedding.
Wedding planning combines my organizational skills (from 11 years of teaching elementary school) with my interest in interior design and styling. While I was still teaching, I started taking wedding planning and design classes through The Wedding Academy. Now I’m a certified wedding planner and designer and I’m loving this new adventure!
Some of my favorite things are drinking coffee, traveling, being with God, outdoor adventuring, and eating chips and salsa. If I’m not planning or styling something, you’ll most likely find me with my husband and our wild pups out on the trails either mountain biking, hiking, snowboarding, or cross country skiing.
